I wanted to do a fun DIY jack-o-lantern outfit for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and so I flocked to Pinterest and the inter-webs like any warm blooded millenial!

Thanks to the AMAZING photopass cast members in Disney for making photos so fun to take!

In my searches I found this adorable DIY by Allison and knew I had to have one for myself. I made it my own by styling it a bit different and using this AMAZING self adhesive felt that was a GOD SEND and time saver!

All my supplies were purchased at Michael’s craft store and are listed and linked here to make one of your very own! The whole project was less than $10!:

  • Gilden T-Shirt in size Large and it was less than$4! (I got this in a bigger size than I usually wear to give it more of a dress affect!)

  • Knee high candy corn socks also less than $4! (not online)

  • Adhesive Felt less than $2! (they don’t sell single sheets online but you can find it in store for $1.10)

I literally traced these pieces from my iPad onto paper and traced them right onto the felt!

The directions are quite simple! Cut out a triangle nose, a mickey head, and jack-o-lantern mouth. Trace these shapes onto your felt with a white pencil. Cut them out and adhere them to your shirt! I literally made this in less than five minutes as I was packing for my trip!

I hope you have fun making your own and if you do please tag me in your photos because I’d LOVE to see how you made it to fit your style!
