So how does it work? Currently only available on iPhones and Apple Watches (other devices to be added soon), the Disney MagicMobile service is customizable, easy-to-use, and a great extra feature! Don’t feel like wearing your MagicBand? No worries! Just bring your iPhone and/or Apple Watch to tap into the park! I know there are days where I feel like not wearing any accessories but my watch and this helps make those days possible!

Watch this awesome easy to follow tutorial as provided by Disney Parks Blog to see how to get this feature going!

Guests can customize their pass from one of 15 current designs! These passes get added to your digital wallet app on your iPhone or Apple Watch. Be on the lookout for SPECIAL designs exclusive for Annual Passholders and DVC members! That’s not all! Multiple passes can be on a single device which is great for families with little ones!

TO USE:

  • Hold your iPhone or Apple Watch (or other smart device as they get added for use in the future) near the access point upon entering the park just like you’d do with your MagicBand

  • Make sure express mode is on that way you don’t even have to wake or unlock your phone or open the app!

  • THAT’S IT!

EXTRA FEATURE: Now with the tap of your phone you can automatically link your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos by enabling Bluetooth on your device. Don’t forget you can still unlock your room door at Walt Disney World Resorts with your phone too!

The MagicMobile service, MagicBands, and physical park tickets can all be used interchangably meaning you don’t have to choose one or the other. This also means that MagicBands are no longer provided to resort guests for free. For a pre-arrival price guests can purchase MagicBands from an array of fun designs!

I will probably use my phone and watch more often but I still love that I can sport fun MagicBand designs!

Which design will you choose for your new experience? I put the castle!
