Home Improvements: Haunted Mansion Edition

The ghosts of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion have been hard at work with some SPOOKTACULAR changes! They’ve been preparing for guests return to the parks by updating some elements of our favorite New Orleans Square estate. Let’s take a look at what Disney Parks …I mean…the ghosts …have done to the place!

You know how much I love a fresh manicure and a freshly manicured lawn is no exception! The grounds have been freshly groomed and landscaped to adorn the departed pets of the mansion residents’. Their stories go beyond the grave and so pay close attention the next time you pay a visit because it’s all in the deTAILS.

One look at this video from Disney Parks Blog will have you running to visit your favorite Happy Haunts as soon as the park opens it’s gates once again (which is April 30th, 2021)! Check it out!

DON’T FORGET: If you’re planning on attending the reopening of Disneyland Resort theme parks on April 30th or anytime after both a theme park reservation and valid admission ticket for the same park on the same date are required for guests ages 3 and up. PER Disneyland guidance: Guests must have a valid theme park admission ticket in order to make a reservation. Theme park reservations will be limited and subject to availability and, until further notice, only California residents may visit the parks, and in groups no larger than 3 households, in line with current state guidelines.

You’ll want to get your vision checked before your visit back to the Haunted Mansion because as you enter you’ll need a keen eye to notice some craven new embellishments ordaining the portrait hallway we all know and love. The ghosts brought back a familiar and one of the mansion’s original portraits, “April to December” so be sure to bring out your best eyeballs for viewing!

There may be 999 ghosts but there is always room for one more so put on your doom buggy best and get ready to be haunted!
